RC Boats have numerous components. First is the boat itself. A boat can either be run on nitro, on batteries or electronics or by the wind. Nitro boats use fuel as the primary means of running like a normal boat. Nitro per se is usually expensive so be sure that you purchase in bulk in order to save up on the cash. Electric boats use batteries that can either be electrically charged or disposal, depending on the model of the RC boat. Lastly, RC sailboats use the wind in order for it to run, like a classic sailboat. However it also uses batteries for its radio or electronically guided system in order for the user to stir or hit the anchors during usage.
There are two types of remote controllers for these RC boats. First is the pistol type RC or remote control. This type of remote control boasts of its pistol like grip. You can accelerate your RC boat by pressing on the trigger. It also has a wheel type steering mechanism found on either the left or the right side of the pistol. Second is the classic stick type RC. It has an antenna used to transmit the signals from the RC to the boat itself. It also has two levers, the left one being used for acceleration and the right one being used for steering.
If you are looking for speed, then you can go for the Nitro RC boats. These boats are fuel powered, allowing for long speeds of travel and performance for about 45 minutes to an hour. You can also go for the electric RC boats that are battery powered and have the same speeds but can run for only 15 up to 30 minutes. If you want to experience recreational RC sessions then you can go for RC sailboats that use the power of the wind.
